1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how SnapBody ("the Service"), which is operated by Standard Care, Inc. doing business as SnapBody ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information.

2. Information We Collect

Account information:

• TikTok username and profile picture (via TikTok login)
• Authentication tokens managed by our auth provider (Clerk)

Usage data:

• TikTok video URLs you add to your timeline
• Video metadata (titles, thumbnails, timestamps) fetched from TikTok
• Basic analytics events (page views, feature usage)

Automatically collected:

• Browser type, device information, and IP address
• Cookies and local storage for session management

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To display your TikTok video timelines
• To save your progress and preferences across devices
• To improve the Service through anonymized analytics

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• TikTok — for authentication (login) and video embed/metadata APIs
• Clerk — for user authentication and session management
• Supabase — for database hosting
• Statsig — for analytics
• TikTok (advertising) — to measure which TikTok ads lead to signups and subscriptions. See “Advertising measurement” below.
• Vercel — for application hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their handling of your data.

Advertising measurement

We use the TikTok Pixel on our website and the TikTok Events API on our servers to measure how our TikTok ads perform. When you start setup, give your phone number, or subscribe, we send TikTok the event name, an event ID, the subscription amount and currency, your IP address, browser type, the TikTok click ID and cookie, and a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of your email address, phone number, and account ID. We do not send your raw email address or phone number, your answers to setup questions, your weight, your goals, your photos, or your medication details.

We keep the first ad source, campaign, landing page, and visit time with your account and checkout record. We use these fields and SMS delivery and reply events to measure signup and subscription results in Statsig. We send Statsig whether a TikTok click ID exists, but we do not send Statsig the click ID.

You can opt out of personalized TikTok ads in your TikTok ad settings, or contact us to ask us to stop sharing this data.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in our database hosted by Supabase. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page.

9a. SMS Communications

If you opt in to SMS notifications, SnapBody will send you automated text messages including daily progress updates and posting reminders. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message from us. For help, reply HELP or contact support@snapbody.co. Opting out will not affect your SnapBody account or any other communications.
